Keith R. Betensky is Of Counsel to the firm.
He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar. He received his Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University, cum laude.
Mr. Betensky handles a wide variety of transactional matters, including the acquisition and sale, leasing and financing of all types of commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Betensky also practices land use and municipal law, guiding both property owners and municipal clients through the approval process, including compliance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act. Mr. Betensky’s litigation practice includes real estate, commercial contract disputes, arbitration and municipal violations. Mr. Betensky also serves as outside general counsel to small and mid-sized retail, manufacturing construction and professional services businesses throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Mr. Betensky is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association and he regularly lectures on land use law and real estate matters at the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and other venues. He has served as co-chair of the Westchester County Bar Association’s Environmental Law Committee, President of the Bedford Village Business Association, and Treasurer of the Board of Managers of a local condominium.
