Together with Charles Goldberger, Patricia Wetmore Gurahian manages the firm’s litigation department. Ms. Gurahian heads the firm’s Appellate practice, and handles a wide range of general litigation matters including Municipal Defense and Surrogate’s Court litigation.

Ms. Gurahian has more than 25 years of experience researching and writing memoranda of law on motions, pre-and post-trial briefs, and she has particular expertise in drafting appellate briefs for state and federal courts.  She is able to hone-in on the legal issues that are important to a particular case and to pinpoint and highlight her opponents’ factual and legal weaknesses. Ms. Gurahian’s practice also includes general litigation, personal injury, Surrogate’s Court litigation, as well as general estate matters such as drafting wills and estate planning documents and supervising the representation of fiduciaries in uncontested probate and administration proceedings.  Ms. Gurahian also provides consultation and litigation support to condominiums and Homeowner’s Associations, for whom she has recovered millions of dollars. Ms. Gurahian is also responsible for representing the firm’s developer and municipal clients in litigations. She undertakes the defense of municipalities in State and Federal Courts.

She is admitted to the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Pace University where she was a member of the Law Review. She also received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Pace University. She is a member of the Westchester County and New York State Bar Associations.
