McCullough, Goldberger & Staudt Files Suit on Behalf of Westchester Cycle Club against NYDOT

    Sunday, June 21st, 2009

The Westchester Cycle Club has sued to force the state to pave over rumble
strips carved into a 4.4-mile stretch of Route 100 in Yorktown and Somers
    - a favorite stretch for bike riders.  The strips actually forces people
pedalling along the road into traffic thus creating a hazardous condition
for bikers and approaching vehicles.  The lawsuit sounds in public
nuisance and requests a permanent injunction in order to remedy the
dangerous situation and prevent harm and injury to the plaintiff and the
    public.
