Frank S. McCullough, Jr. honored at the Ninth Annual “Above the Bar Awards.”

Frank S. McCullough, Jr., a partner with McCullough, Goldberger & Staudt, LLP, was honored recently at the Ninth Annual “Above the Bar Awards.”

The ceremony was held at Pace Law School in White Plains on June 4 where McCullough was recognized as Westchester County’s “Leading Real Estate Attorney.”

The Above the Bar awards are a countywide program that recognizes outstanding attorneys in Westchester County. The Above the Bar awards were presented by Citrin Cooperman, Westchester County Business Journal, Pace University School of Law, Westchester County Bar Association and Westchester Women’s Bar Association.

In introducing McCullough at the awards ceremony, his longtime friend and professional colleague Geoff Thompson of Thompson & Bender said the award was “a genuine honor and meaningful recognition” of McCullough’s skills as an attorney, especially given the number of top notch real estate attorneys in Westchester County.

“In his decades in practice, real estate development has been his specialty and his passion. Frank has a well-earned reputation as one of the best in working in what has become an increasingly challenging environment for just about any development or even re-development plan,” Thompson said.

Thompson referenced some of the hundreds of significant real estate projects that McCullough has worked on, including golf courses, churches, universities, health clubs, senior housing, office parks and corporate headquarters, notably PepsiCo, Inc.’s world headquarters located in Purchase.

He also spoke of McCullough’s extensive work and service to countless nonprofits, notably his service as president and chairman of the Westchester Community College Foundation.

“I have known and worked with Frank McCullough for more than 30 years, and I am proud to introduce him tonight as a top real estate attorney — as a friend — and a good man who has touched the lives of so many,” Thompson said.
